These are impressions from some of my morning walks,

mainly from the year 2006.

I called them "Sunday Afternoon",

because it was the relaxed atmosphere of those afternoons

that placed me in the right mood in order

to put those impressions on paper.

Most of them were painted in the year 2008,

some of them in the following years.

I chose to use drawing ink instead of watercolor,

because I wanted them to look like old black-and-white snapshots.

Drawing ink on paper - a very challenging technique,

because once the brush touches the paper,

there is no way of correcting the existing trace.
